Where Is Life Taking Us?

Wondering where I will be

In a few years from now

Whether I will succeed or not

And if I will ever accomplish the American Dream.

Striving for the good life

Although always with obstacles

That could either bring us down

Or make us better.

Waiting for that bright light

To come into my life

With the solution

To all my problems.

Living in agony

Would have me under depression

From the thoughts

About what could have been a better life.
