Where is the light?
Where is the light?
I’ve been searching for it, in seek of pleasure,
Superficial items, irrelevant to the
Significance of life.
Where is the light?
Darkness surrounds me,
Clouding my mind with a
Malicious flow of thoughts.
Enabling me to be further lost
In the dimension of nothingness.
Pain, tears and a cold heart is
All that I’m left with.
Where is the light?
Sunshine comes in the morning,
Yet it is still dawn in my world.
Subliminal meanings flood the interior of my heart,
Perplexing signals that are mysterious
To my soul.
Where is the light?
When I’ve been adjusted to
Darkness my whole life.
