Where the Missing Piece Goes?
Have you ever had your life
So put together
That you know exactly
What you’re missing
Nothing’s perfect
But it’s far better than bearable
With this one slot
Just ready to be filled
And this is the one thing
That has eluded you
All your life
It ran or you did
But now you’re ready for it
You want it
And you can have it
You have it
So easy
So much harder than you thought it would be
To have but not hard to keep
Because you could never throw this away
And it doesn’t fit
Into that slot quite right
And your life is messier
But now its whole
Hole
Was left when it left
Gone beyond reasoning
Or hope to be filled
Because now you’re missing
A piece of the puzzle
But the puzzle
Still seems complete
You can’t
Figure out
Where to fit
The piece you have found
And you hold a box of pieces
That complement your own
And could fit
If only you knew
Where the missing piece should go
