Where is my home?
Home isn't home without you.
The home is dark now without your smile to illuminate its hallways
How will I be able to find my way amidst the shadows?
Home isn't home without you.
The home once filled with your loving laughter is now occupied by a crippling silence
How will I be able to hear myself amidst the muteness?
Home isn't home without you.
The home now emits a stale scent without your perfume of homemade meals coating the kitchen
How will I be able to cook amidst the futile attempts of recreating yours?
Home isn't home without you.
The home that was adorned with bright paintings now is filled with fading flowers
How will I be able to find joy in picking flowers amidst now knowing its impending doom?
Home has become a house.
You took it with you when you left.
But hopefully amidst this sorrow if I keep you with me, the house will be able to become a home again.
