Where were you?

Where were you? When the skies poured down And I began to drown Where were you? | | When days grew dark And hope was dim The future stark Hanging on a weakened limb Where were you? | | When fear enveloped and detained my mind Ravaging my being leaving little behind Where were you? | | When desperation with all its might Fanned the flames that would ignite The will to persevere and a savage fight Where were you? | | When the battle raged on And hopelessness had gone When my enemies failed And I finally prevailed Where were you? | | Where were you?...Where were you?... | Where are you?
