Where the Wild Things Are

Where are the Wild Things

When they are no longer wild

There is no chance for them to explore

When there is no chance for them to live

I want to save them from all of man's doings

From the cagers to the poachers

And the not so tamely butchers

But I can't save any wild thing yet

If there is no money to fund me

With a boost to keep me going

And a gently kindly hand

I could build a place for all to live

In a lovely land

Then one day there would be a safe place

Where the Wild Things Are
