Where Would I Be?

Where would I be?

Without my family?

Life is hard and unpredictable

Ups and downs with tragedies

Who to trust?

Masks of sheep among wolves

Hurt and sorrow await to consume you at every turn

Where would I be?

Without my family?

All I need in this life

Their love and support unwavering

To get me through tough times

They give me strength

Come hell or high road

They lift high above the sky

Where would I be?

Without my family?

Encouraging words of wisdom

Always there, never faltering

I feel safe within their eyes

Encompassed within their love

I know I will survive

Where would I be?

Without my family?

Now I can stand on my own

I know I have their support

There is nothing I cannot do

Ready to conquer and push forward
