Where Would I Be Without Thee

Religion is something I can’t live without
Though many in the world try to create that doubt
Though I am living in a world of sin
I consciously choose him, he’s my strength within
Without him I don’t know where I would be
Probably still with my ex who did not love me
But God shows me love everyday
So in him I indulge and pray
I pray for you, I pray for me, I pray for us
Because as the bill states ‘In God we Trust’
So many rather trust those with money
But I just find that so rather funny
As the rich avoid taxes the poor can’t escape
Further expanding the huge class gape
But in God’s eyes we all are equal
“Here is the church,
Here is the steeple,
Open the doors and see all the people.”
I am one of many who can’t live without Christ
Because he paid the ultimate price
The least I can do is his will
While I am here on this earth still
Let me fade out
That you may stand out
