Where would I go

Where would I go

I would go where the roses grow

in times of total disbelief

of what our world has become

where would I go

I would go where the roses grow

in days when life is tough

and the road is rough

where would I go

I would go where the roses grow

for never in my life

was there a day

that a rose has me betrayed

rather have they caressed my senses

lifted my spirit with their pureness

enchanted me with their beauty

never, never was it for them a duty

but rather an act of love

thus

where would I go

I would go where the roses grow
