Where is your heart?
Where is your heart?
When my dreams have been broken
Where is your heart?
When I fill a sorrowful river for you
Where is your heart?
When my best friend feels miles away
The smile painted on my face
Mirrors your grin perfectly
However only one is there honestly
The face I know so well
Stares back at me
Painfully so indifferently
Without even a hint
Of any special feeling
Resonating from his body
I dream of the passion I once felt
And for him it drove me crazy
Throwing me into a daze
I miss the feeling
Of shivers running up my body
Like a shock of electricity
Shot from the tip of a finger
Causing my pulse to accelerate
And any stray thoughts to dissipate
Nevermore
Said the Raven
Nevermore
Said the true smile
Nevermore
Cried my tears
Now that love is gone
The friends are missing
And I’m silently distressing
What once was my best friend
Can hardly even be noted
That we are acquaitances
I miss the friend I once had
I wish for what I once possessed
A friendship that was one of the best
Distance of miles and miles
Has seeped into the inconspicuous rift
That had once been a gift
A moment of silence
Morphed into years
Of exile and unnerving fears
Now in my losing battle
I’m the last one standing
And to the end I’ll keep fighting
For my one love
That will never fade
That has always stayed
I long for my promised embrace
But I know my hopes are pointless
A thought I do not want to confess
He’s too afraid of what could be
He’s too blind to see
That we were really meant to be
