Whew!

Whew!

I got to catch a breath got to keep going got to keep buzzing

Show the opposition what kind of matter I’m made of.

And I will keep buzzing and blazing bright no matter if we are

Down below or way up high.

You can pound us scrape us burn us hate us

Try our patience or make us pay for the fumbles we cause

It’s no matter to me, I will continue to blare my golden horn no matter

What you do, or what you try.

This is fun it’s exiting it’s amazing I am overjoyed by the joys

The greatness of the moment the life that flows into me.

It’s a sense of place of time of hope of desire of marvel

You name it no matter who our team plays.

We are the presence which no team can go without noticing

Look at our drums our trumpets our saxophones and sousaphones

We have cymbals which slam with a mighty clash to tear you to tatters

Even our flutes and clarinets will scream at you with no mercy

It does not matter what happens in the game if our team loses

Or wins or ties. We will be there by their sides cheering them on in

The best way that our grandiose group can do.

Because we are a band. And we always win.
