That Which Binds Them Forever
She sought after the trivial to fill her depths
Bows perfectly perched on boxes
Rose pettled floors
Words attempting to fill all the empty places
She was a glutton for love
Superficial affection became the crutches on which she balanced the weight of her insecurities
She attempted to love without knowing the greatest love of all
Motivated by the fear of never knowing true love, she immerced herself in HIM
Wishing the validity of his presence was as easy as a handshake, she struggled to know HIM
Constant prayers behind closed eyelids became her refuge
Hidden from her own insecurities
Hoping to conceal the doubt shouting behind prayers filled with words of gratitude and favors
Then came the day of their formal introduction
The day HE broke her legs and carried her
Draping her over his shoulder she laid her doubts at his feet
Her void welcoming the fufilling nature of HIS presence
HE slowly became her definitive
HIS presence now faliing behind closed eyelids where doubt previously rested
As she laid next to her lover she felt HIS presence nestled between them
She saw HIM in the sunrise every morning
As the warmth peeked though the blinds and kissed each eyelid, she softly smiled
She passed on the contagious nature of HIS love and softly kissed each eyelid of the man HE created just for her
A soft grin formed as the eyes of her lover slowly opened
The corners of his mouth curved just as his body molded to fit hers every night before they went to sleep
He immediatly fell into the small cavities through which she saw the world
Praying to find himself lost there forever
as they travel along this journey of knowing HE that binds them forever.
