Which Direction?

It seems my internal compass I broke. My mind is leading me down the path of faith, Christianity and right justness, a path that I was raised to follow; taught never to deter form that will lead me to that almighty One. A journey that keeps me in well standings with my family and those near me, hiking through this journey I seem to be questioning myself but I push forward.

But my compass is leading onto a different path.

This path is paved with the color of the rainbow, tears of the hurt and the strength of the still fighting.  Dormant for years my homosexuality is beginning to come forth, I have found the love of another woman that feels my heart with a joy I have never felt.

I’m standing at the fork in the road looking down each path asking myself, which way? Looking back into my past where this life style was never to be discussed or live seem closer to me than I knew before. Standing here my mind spins as I question myself.

I have chosen my path in becoming who I am, I the true me the person I was born to be. I have awoken the lesbian in me.
