That which makes a heart

My heart gives me life,

it is the core of my body,

the essence of me,

and all that makes me.

Without my heart I would not be me,

but an imposter,

nothing but a machine.

Therefore my heart becomes my light,

a light that pierces through the uncertanties of the universe,

a light that heralds my values, my morals, and my truths.
