Which one do I accept?
There it is, the future; don't you see it? Its looming ahead right on that next ledge with this big abyss down below it.
The only thing holding me back with its heavy ebony chains are me. Everyone else is edging me on telling me that it is alright to spread my wings to leave the nest, and take the next step.
They have released me, so why can't I release myself?
The anxiety graps my heart each night, nearly suffocating me from the nerves.
And yet, there is a dim ray of hope, excitement-yes I want to go I want to travel the world, whats the phrase I have big dreams
Its fear and anxiety that rules my life-the question is which one do I accept?
