Which one is love again?

If he says I love you

It has to be true?

Because mommy and daddy

They say it too

So I guess I must listen

I have to obey

Because I do not know the difference

Between what’s bad and okay

He tells me he loves me

That’s what families do

But I’m scared of him now

And now I’m scared of me too

Because I can’t understand

Why I’m feeling this way

He says that he loves me

Must be me who’s to blame

Were far from that now

We’ve moved away

But his voice still echoes

On memory lane

I know now the difference

Between bad touch and good

The real problem is

I keep thinking “I should…”

I should have run out

I should have told

I shouldn’t have let him

I should have been bold

So when she tells me she loves me

And I know that its real

It’s still hard to believe

I can’t take off my shield

I love you, I love you

You do or you don’t?

I think I believe you

Wait, maybe I won’t.
