Which is the true animal?
The Beast roams the fields of pain and despair,
some blame the beast for its own demise.
Yet true hearts know that isn't fair,
for it is us who took away an attitude so wise.
On whim it is taught to scare,
out of fear it is bred to hate.
The truest of us wouldn't dare,
to treat it like none other than Kate.
Where is the wall of a gate,
they do not deserve such misery.
How long must we forsake,
we as people need to set the boundary.
Man's best friend, it cannot be so.
Unless our love be just as thorough.
