Which Way is Better?

Why do I keep lying to you?

Why do I keep lying to myself?

Magnifying my own infliction on a shelf

I wait for the right to time

So that my ignorance doesn’t become my subsiding crime

But I feel that I can’t take this anymore

When all is unsaid and everything is done

What if when all is said it is undone?

I don’t want to be crawling here asking you not to run

But by the swiftness of life

And the seconds that each bring periling knifes

Which is better to have in the core?

The thought of knowing you never truly found out

Or the truth of what has always been throughout
