While you were sleeping

I have so much to tell you Since you've been gone You fill every crevice in my mind You've missed 6000 nights Innumerous rain drops 6000 rays of dawn Freeing myself from solitary confinement I hop, I climb, I run The grasp of loneliness loosen I've swim further than I've ever swim I blink the tears away Again and again You were my rock I held on to My everything Nevertheless you lie sleeping
