Whisper
I stood there in silence,
As the words were said to me.
Your beautiful and brilliant light,
Was no more to be.
My screams they echoed,
As tears fell from my eyes.
I wished for all the good it did,
That these words were lies.
I whispered your name into the wind,
And when no response was heard,
I whispered just a little louder,
My heart refusing to be deterred.
I’ll whisper every day until,
I feel you next to me.
And whisper one more time again,
Until you come back to me!
