"Whisper on the Lips

Life saw me as a bullet and pulled the trigger faster than the target could appear and I'm flying through clouds blind seeing only darkness in the day blurry from the fog. I thought words were healers until the whispers ruined my life and the bullet fell. On the bathroom floor blurry sight from the raindrops each drop for every word I could have said. Throwing down the towel filled with blood because I thought you would be there every second I thought when I breathed it would be your air. All I breathe is the air that's intoxicating my lungs. My head is on the wall embracing the goodbyes embracing the lies told on the lips I loved & trusted. The whisper on your lips say something different than the sign in your eyes screaming goodbye. I spend hours washing the feeling of your hands off mine and I wish it could come off but it feels like its permanently there.I feel like it's a never ending circle of rinse and repeat. My nails scrape the wall trying to escape this prison cell you put me in until I can't breathe anymore from the wire on my neck. The whispers on her lips lied she'll never be there like I was. You'll never forget me until the whisper on her lips demand you to. The whisper on my father's lips chooses a girl I have never met before turning 14 isn't important to your eyes because I'm just getting closer to leaving the lips that hurt me everyday. "Worthless" "nothing" "slut" "bitch" "goodbye" whispers on the lips of everyone I see as I walk by mouthing the truth of myself. I'll sit here getting older slowly and wishing this next second I was gone 1... I'm still here even when the whisper on everyone's lips are killing me.
