Whispers

We asked white angels to help, they said they'll try,

"Help will come in time".  Well that's a lie.

And you know, I'll find,

a place to hide in my mind,

in time.

Now to our cries, a help arrived.

Horrors consumed us when saviors lied.

And you know I've found,

a place to hide without bullets resounding,

so how have we ended ourselves?

Do you know what you're in for?

"My brothers, we'll help you", they said.

Now there's nothing to live for,

but whispers of hope.

Our children are dead now, lying cold on the floor.

These saviors could not hold the door.

And you know, I've found,

a place to hide safe and sound,

from you and everyone out there.
