The Whispers

Can you hear them? Like whispers in the wind. Do you see them, even if just for a second? The ones calling out making you think you're just hearing things. Now that you're aware I must warn you that they are greedy. They like to be heard and seen, as you know people have ignored them for centuries. They can tell you’ve heard them, seen them, and they want more. For they will read your mind. So I now beg you to ignore them with all your might. Don’t worry about it being right, just ignore them whatever you do. Give no thought to what they may be, for if you do they will slowly take over your mind, body, and soul. Then they will own you.
