The Whispers of Promises

the lines of her hands

whisper of pinky promises

the good

and the bad

the cold nights of tears

broken hearts, hands, love

the days thoughts are smothering

"do you promise?"

"yes."

lies.

the warm days

of holding hands and

warm smiles

whole hearts, hands, love

your thoughts are free

"do you promise?"

"yes."

truth.
