Whispers of the Siren

Come to me

Said the siren softly

I have a secret you want to hear

My dear

If you repeat what I say

You will not see another day

I have a substance for you here

She whispered in my ear

A potion that will make you full of glee

If you want some all you have to do is come with me

-No, he said, as he swam away

Not now, not tomorrow, not any other day

For I care about myself and my life

And I do not want to cause strife

But no, I say, no

I do not want your potion, so I must go
