Whispers of the Wind
Can you hear them
as they sing?
The whispers of the wind?
Can't you hear them,
And their song?
Wanting him again?
They seek the one,
The truth he brought,
The truth of which we've lost.
They need it now,
Begging, pleading,
To find it at all cost.
Can't you hear them calling,
Calling out his name?
Looking for his voice of reason,
Dr. Martin Luther King?
