by a whistle

the line was crossed when the murder of Till happened beating until death while government took no action all of this made a judgement of dismissal all of this caused just by a whistle a little whistle that ignited a whole nation a nation angered by common isolation this led to Parks defying a southern custom in that time or federal troops intervening the "Little Rock Nine" the whistle while dodging the cover ups of uncle sam was able to mark its territory in Birmingham even though it was tortured by dogs and an explosion it didn't show sign of any type of erosion even though i can't reminisce you already know where i'm going with this and come to think through all these events that are so uncivil all of this caused just by a whistle

I can't believe it. Thank you SO much for remembering the plight of Emmit Till. There are so many that to this day still don't know about his story. I'm going to Share your poem and give you your acknowledgement. I haven't forgotten about him. Thanks again.
