White
The gates of heaven shine so bright
Everything witnessed in all white
Wearing our weddings best
Lying in each other’s arms as we rest
The future, tomorrow is our day
Now we are grown and there is no time for play
Wearing this white wedding dress
With only intentions to impress
Years of waiting it’s our time now
With only intentions to wow
On this very day we vow to unite
To promise to always fight
White is your vest
White is your smile with only words to express
Your sweet scent sweeps me away
On this paper is what we have been dying to say
To be perfect for each other we stress
We handle our troubles with finesse
Being without you I cannot allow
Being without you is something I disavow
White brings eyes to life
Only dreaming of a world without strife
