White Guilt

White guilt? Spilt milk? Across the table Across the nation Staining the brown table Murdering the brown nation Can you clean up the milk? Can you clean up the blood? Can you erase what has been spilt? Can we change our past? At what point can we stop the hatred. The racism. The pain. The separation of people. We are one race. We are the human race. I cannot change the actions of my heritage. I cannot change their thoughts. I cannot change the laws that once divided us. But I can change me. I can change what I think and say and who I befriend. And you. Well you can only change you.
