It all started, one night at the bar,
In the front seat of a parked car.
Do you party, a friend said to me,
Not really, but shit let's see.
Glistening in the moonlight,
There lay the white lines of destiny.
Twenty to my nose, instant rush,
Heart started pounding, face was flush.
Sudden burst of energy, lets get inside,
Find a corner of the room, dark spot to hide.
Vision blurry, heart in my throat,
Red bull vodka, never ending to note.
Energy fades and fades away,
Only to see more white lines, the night away.
Daylight comes, eyes wide open,
Praying for sleep, blinds not open.
White lines are for poets and madmen,
Which one am I, only time will tell.
