WHITE PETALS

Like you, i wait for the day
when white petals
cover your skin
and black silk
covers mine.
Like you, i wait for the day
when white doves fly
and never separate
in the sky.
Like you, i wait for the day
when you walk on the aisle
smelling the aroma of fresh
flowers as they tickle your nose.
While i wait for you
on the edge,
teary-eyed, fingers-crossed.
Oh, how you look like
a tulip. And your body
is a garden. Anyone can
stare at your white
petals. But i won't
let them, because in this room,
and in this time, no
one owns you..
But me...
