White Wave

Hello, my name is Jennifer. My name means "white wave"

Although I’m in the midst of trouble, the name of God be praised

Hello, my name is Jennifer. And I am driven out to sea

Thrown into storms as thunder roars. And quakes above me

Driven forth to land. Slammed upon the rocks

Tossing and turning, and thrashing, and churning—Water turns to froth

And although the wind beats harder. And the sun has hidden its shine

El Shaddia has followed with me---Who is  forever mine

He who walks on water, leads me with His loving hands

Into the quiet places—A white wave upon dry land
