Who

I took a look into the darkness,

Where all my fears lived:

My loneliness, the unknown, and failure.

The abyss of self hate was never one to be discussed.

I took a look into the airiness,

Where my life took place:

My home, the family, and others.

The split of personality was never one to be shown.

I took a look into the world,

Where one’s choices were never their own:

My expectations, the behaviors, and society.

The show was always a facade.

I took a step over the edge,

Where conformity was obsolete:

My passion, the love, and individuality.

The pain was gone.
