To Who

lovely and kind

you opened their mind

to a better design

but you are not fine

you don't even know who you are

you don't even know how far

you don't even know

But tell me, how are you

trying to

be the light, with just two

eyes not even blue

maybe i've got it all wrong

maybe you're just trying to sing your own song

that tries to get everyone else to sing along

you don't even know how you are strong

you try to get everyone to feel like they belong

and get them to sing their own song

but sometimes it isn't enough

sometimes the going gets tough

sometimes you huff and you puff

sometimes you have to be rough

sometimes it has to be enough

i admire that about You

a love You have that is so true

even when You're blue

You somehow know what to do

don't be bothered by me

or anyone else that wears jealousy

continue hating reality

but making the best of it and realistically

seeing everything as lovely

i don't know who You are

but you are the star

no, you are the tree, who makes others who they are

You allow them to breathe

You are to aesthetically please

You make life a breeze

You are so lovely
