Who?

Tue, 01/08/2019 - 01:15 -- verena

Who?

Who am I?

Who have I become?

I am

I’m from the land of brutal heat

The land of flat, sandy land

The land of dry, hot air

The land of sunshine

I’m from the land of foggy skies

The land of trees and a great river

Stretching from beaches to deserts

I’m not from Texas

I’m from the land of the Pyramids

The land of mummies

pharaohs sand sphynx

The land of persecution and struggle

I’m from the land of Egypt

I am

I’m from church

Prayers, praises, and hymns

Reading the Bible

Sunday morning and Sunday School

I’m from Jesus Christ

I am

I’m from the land of brutal heat

The competition fields

The music, the motion

The clarinet

The Mr. Mathews and Mrs. Dell

I’m from the LD Bell Blue Raider Band

I am

I’m from the hugs, tears, kisses Friend and family

Always there

Never gone

I’m from those who surround me

I am

I’m from sleepless nights Hundreds of abbreviations

IAs, EEs, CAS, IB

Running away from Mrs. Shane; You can run, but you can’t hide

I’m from IB

Who?

Who am I?

Who will I become?

Wherever I will go, I am from me...

I am ****** ******
