who am i?

Baby, I fell for you

I can’t let you play me like a fool

I won’t  be that girl anymore

Closed the door

On this innocent and young  heart

You left me in the cold

You tried to fill that void in me

My heart was empty but you filled it

With empty promises and kisses

I wasn’t ready, I wasn’t looking for it

But I wanted to give something

My all to you

I was falling head over heels for you, boy

Over the deep, deep blue

Over the grey moon

My passion screamed so loud I couldn’t hear myself think clearly

But I got scared of getting hurt

Of losing yoU

Not wanting to know the truth

About a selfish fool

And, baby, that  was you
