Who Am I?

I look in the mirror and see nothing.
Nothing but shame and disappointment projected by others.
I want happiness
acceptness
I want to see me.

I look in the mirror and see nothing.
Nothing but fear. Fear of who I am. Fear of who I want to be.
I want happiness
acceptness
I want to see me.

I look in the mirror and see nothing.
Nothing but a questioning face. A face of readiness.
I'm ready for happiness
acceptance
I'm ready for me.

I look in the mirror and see nothing.
Nothing but courage and strength.
With maybe a slight nervousness.
I will be happy
accepted
I will see me.

I look in the mirror and see nothing.
Nothing but me.
I am happy.
I do accept me.
I see who I want to be.
This is me.
