Who am I

Its a problem. Its not living I can't do. Its being me that becomes harder every day. I don't know who I am, because me becomes suffocated in this house every day. My voice, my choice, is drowned out by the primed seasoned, I've lived more years than you, I've done more than you, I know more about the life I have lived so that makes me the expert on all life adult voices that surround me. Yet here I am. Little me, just waiting for the day to break free. Tick, tock. Goes this clock on my final countdown to freedom. No bridges burnt, just some space. Some space to breathe, some space to be me.
