Who Am I?

Who am I? That is a question which haunts me every time it look in the mirror. A question which comes to me in the lonely hours. A question to which even I may not have the answer the answer. But, I will try to speak for the deep core that I have hidden from myself.
I am
A lover, hard and relentless, unwilling to let go
I am
Sunken in shadows, avoiding the gaudy light of day
I am
A friend, to the end of times and beyond
I am
Alone in the world, alone in a crowd, alone with myself
I am
Not one thing, one "type", but rather like a diamond, my faces show at different angles of light
I am
Hidden by a mask that I show the world, I show them a me that they can understand
I am
Understandably complex, a simple conundrum, a puzzle with all e wrong pieces
I am
Guilty of a soft heart, hidden by a hard exterior
I am ... A poet... Torrin.... I am he but so much more.
