Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I when the likes and retweets don't matter?
What do I do when no one is watching?
What brings my blood to a boil?
Who do I hold when the tears won't stop falling?
Who's behind my smile?
Who am I?
When the likes and retweets don't matter
I still have make up on, not to impress anyone,
But because I feel better with it.
I run around in my pajamas
Because clothes make feel entrapt
What do I do when no one's watching?
I lay in my bed.
I read all the books my room has to offer
I get lost in the fantasy of my dreams
I rock guys world in their war game
She's too tiny to have an army they said
Oh shit I lied is what they respond
What gets me mad? Who stops my tears?
Telling me I can't do somethng
You don't know me nor my story
Just stand back and watch
Those selfies don't tell you
Half of what I'm capable of
But in the end when I can't fix it
I crawl in my daddy's bed
Because he was there when no one else was
My smile you may ask?
I have but a few friends,
Yet they're all that I need
They surprise me with my favorites
Remind me I'm loved
Remind me no matter how I feel
I am worth something
Who am I?
I'm daddy's girl
I'm the girl who
Know more about trucks
Than most guys.
I'm the girl
Who lives to prove
Those who say I can't
That can, I sure as hell can
I'm Halley
