Who Am I?
Who Am I?
By Jade Olson
Who am I?
What a daring question to ask
Do you dare to dive
into the depths of my soul
Uncover all the hidden things
I’ve put away
kept away……..
From Everyone?
Let’s find out
To start, the simple things
I love books, teas, nature, and weaponry
I hold a passion for a good story
and every character has a capacity for good
In my eyes
I love having obsessions with
Shows, Books, and Movies
I have seemingly simple tastes
That wasn’t to hard right?
Just wait, there’s more
My personality will come in pieces
to make it easier for you
Here we go
Are you ready?
First the lighter things.
I am old fashioned at heart
I feel as though I belong in another place
constantly out of sync with this fast paced world
I am a bit of a romantic
I love sweet and simple gestures of love
little things that make my heart flutter
I have a decent sense of humor
And a sarcastic side
I can be extremely stubborn
But I know when to stay silent,
Sometimes I stay silent a bit too much………
I hide things in my silence
But now………..I tell them to you
Now I have delayed long enough
It’s time to tell
My hidden sides
The things I hide
Even from myself
There is a darkness in me
A darkness full of pain
and sorrow
That cries for it all to end.
For blood to spill…….
from me
Marks on my arm hold stories
stories of loss, pain
and silence.
Such terrible silence in my own mind
When everything fades away
and all that’s left is the blade.
There is also a horrible thing in my mind
An all consuming madness
Wanting to devour my sanity
When it comes, I can’t even think simple thoughts
Everything is lost in the whirlwind
It’s terrifying to me, when I have no control
This is me.
All my hidden parts
Every flaw and dark corridor of my heart
I know it’s not much
But this is me.
I’m trying not to hide anymore
But it’s hard.
I’ve held my secrets for so long
But now…...I give them to you
To set them free
It’s time to start letting go
