Who Am I?

Let me be honest: I can't tell you who the real me is.

I used to be happy and filled with joy, believe it or not.

Sophomore year came around and anxiety and depression took over my life.

I can't remember that happy little girl anymore.

I've suffered so much grief and pain that I can't remember what true happiness is anymore.

I can't tell you who I was before the addictions and the numbness.

Truth is, I don't know who I am.

But God knows. And there's a purpose for keeping me here when I wanted to die.

He knows who I truly am, and that's all that matters.
