Who Am I

It's sad to see myself unable to look in the mirror. Only because I'm afraid of what I'll see. All the hurt and anger I try and hide. But it's my face where it all lies. Who am I? A person whose unable to love. Unable to love because I can't seem to find a way to love myself unconditionally. Growing up without the proper love all I know how to do is hold these feelings inside. Not knowing who to confide in, it's my fear that I must hide then. Who am I? A person who stays strong for everybody else but myself. I won't shed a single tear for the fear of being wrong. I won't let no one in bc the trust I have is very thin. Nobody seems to care unless they need something. Life's so unfair. Who am I? I am a person who doesn't quite know who I am anymore.

My name is Mia and I am 23 yrs old. I have a six yr old son who I love and adore. I started writing poetry in middle school. I stopped for a while now and decided to start back. Me writing poetry helps me relieve a lot of hurt, pain, and anger. I am a very supportive person. I love giving as well as receiving good advice.
