Who Am I??

I’m a women but I’m not helpless

I am strong, beautiful and smart

I am determined to thrive in a world that intends to bury those with talent.

I haven’t always been this way

I’ve been down in the dirt before; I’ve struggled to thrive in life

However I am here now

Where’s here? Here’s where I can stand and say

That I am bright and I am intelligent and I will succeed

I am April.
