who am i

Who am i ?

To this day I still don't know how to answer this

Born and raised in queens New York however African by blood

My whole life I've been trying to find myself in this confusing world

My parents struggling to provide a better future than they had for three kids

My struggles sometimes disappointing them

And don't get me wrong it's hard to please an African parent

I'm still working on finding out who I am but right now

I'm the person who wants to make a difference in someone's life

I know that I'm a person who wants to succeed and change the worl

I am Senegalese

 I am American

I am determined

I am Bright

I am regretful but I am now responsible

Perhaps the questions should no longer be who  I am , but " who will I be "
