Who Am I
Do you think you know me
After the one word gestures in the hall
Or after the short, awkward conversations
Does this provide a good picture
Nerd, awkward and some other fixtures
Is that really all I am
No, it's a little more complex
I'm homeless
Lost
I see the pictures in your eyes
How much do they cost
Misjudged by peers, yet can't explain if that really matters
Fuck peers b/c they come and go
But do really want to be so and so
I have my reasons for how I act
Mature beyond my age, idk
I'll let others figure that out
I'm homeless
Deeply depressed
And society tries to keep people oppressed
I look around and see beauty on the outside
But demons within
So approachable
But won't let me in
I want to help people
So who am I
I'm just different
Mature, yet childish
Nerd and lazy
Stuck in my ways
And how about you?
