who am i ?

in the midst of a generation that drinks pleasure and sin like water, I wander through the streets of Chicago, in the schoolyard and on my way to church and sit and ask myself who am I? I reminsise on that old person i use to be. and i can say, im strong, righteous, filled will potential, and im better than that old me. because i serve a GOD, who is worthy, powerful, bold, merciful and sweet. he is the great i am he is the one that is greater in me than he that is in the world.

I love writing poetry because every word I write, is a taste of fredom in the pen. The best part about poetry is when you are able to bring things out on a deeper level using a story.
