Who Am I

Dear Stranger,

I am a woman with blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

My mother is raising 4 children.

My mother’s side of the family is caucasian and origins from Czechoslovakia.

My brothers and sister look like my mother and their father with fair skin and blonde hair.

I am their older sister.

On the outside I fit in with my blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

I am who people see me as.

I am white.

I am a woman with blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

My father is raising 5 children.

My father’s side of the family is caucasian and African American.

My brothers and sister look like my father and their mother with tan skin and black hair.

I am their older sister.

We are all the same.

However, on the outside I am the outcast.

I am who people see me as.

But I am also black.

I am a woman with blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

I am the eldest sister out of 8.

I am the first child.

I am an artist.

I am a dreamer.

I am a meditator.

I am an athlete.

I am a woman with blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

I am biracial.

I love that I am both white and black.

I hate how some don’t believe.

I hate how some show me off like I’m prize.

My life has been shaped to look separate.

But I am not separate.

I am a black woman with blueish green eyes, fair skin and blonde hair.

Sincerely,

Madisen
