Who Am I? Compared to What I am expected to be?

Who am I?

Compared to what I am expected to be?

I have straight brown hair and light skin.

I have freckles on my nose and cheeks.

I hope one day I grow up like my mother.

Who am I?

Compared to what I am expected to be?

I am a musician, an artist of music, I speak music.

I breathe it inhaling each note into my lungs

creating a vibration in my vocal chords to produce sound.

I hope to help people through the music I create.

Who am I?

Compared to what I am expected to be?

I am a woman.

I create rap music,

YET I HAVE MORALS.

Yes. You heard me correctly.

I hope to uphold all morals in the future as well

as develop new ones to uphold.

Who am I?

Compared to what I am expected to be?

I am somoeone who wants to make a difference.

I want to create love for eachother.

I want to create a flicker,

even if for a brief moment,

someone who lives in the dark sees me.

I am someone who will make an impact.

I hope that I will outgrow the stereotype of average.

Who am I?

Compared to what I am expected to be?

I will be me.

I am the woman who will show others the one thing

they need to succeed:

HOPE.
