Who am I to you?

As I wait by the door, listening to cars pass by. Replaying in my head, that my father said that he is coming by. I wait and wait, but no one shows up. My mother said he probably got stuck in traffic or he's in a rutt. However, I never heard the phone ring. Days pass and I have not heard a thing, not a call, apology or even a rain check; all I get is slience, until the next lie projects. Why do he treat me as if I'm a toy, as if I have no feeling or I can't get annoyed. I am not understanding how he could treat me so cold, what have I ever done him, hell nobody knows. He continue to have kids damaging their soul, ripping out their hearts and diminishing their self-esteem. When will this stop, when will he grow, when will he be a father , honestly I don't know.
